I have made it a month of 100% raw. I still have a ton more to go, but hey...I am celebrating the success so far.

BTW, the whole...."did you miss me"  comment in the beginning is directed towards my online subscribers who had been seeing a video of me everyday. I hadn't made a video in almost a week so I was being a goof!

I've been juicing lately. I am not really craving it, but I thought this would create some juice enthusiasm!

OK, I think I decided to amp up my blogging skills and start Vlogging. However, I still feel really silly about it. I am on youtube if you can believe it. I am actually part of a 100 day raw food challenge online. Here is My Day 1 Video. I have vlogged for a week now. I am obviously super low tech...LOL. I brought my camera to film my kids in gymnastics practice, and ended up making this while I was leaving. Why not, eh?

Hey, I just wanted to share these videos with you.  I am actually on the second video (the first person speaking about why I joined the group). This is a clip of the organic produce buying club that I support. I am the first one chatting away. I get a bit nervous on camera, bear with my ditsy like demeanor...LOL, but I truly feel that services like this should continue and flourish in all communities.


Meetup.com has been a wonderful resource for me to connect with like minded people. This is a link of the buying club I am helping to reinstate. Recently, the club that I belong to has been in jeopardy due to various elements. However, it grew from a handful of people to over one hundred in a matter or months. Obviously, this is something that needs to continue.

I love the contrast of the lawn and the garden. Look how much potential one has with a yard. No worries on food security if you can master a garden.

This girl's interview was hillarious! Who knew raw could be so yummy? .....I DID!  Well, not at first of course, but salads get old meal after meal. There are options to spice things up! I consider myself a raw chef in the making...:)

I just ran across this video. I am not too sure if it is the nearing full moon that has my emotions high, but I was brought to tears! I am a mother who takes the  "road less traveled" , living a life that  I know to be true and what I want for my children. I  want to shake people from their hypnotic slumber like state of living.
 How can we have borders that are so strong that it has even penetrated our hearts? It is hard to understand why we do this. What conditioning have we undergone that has desensitized us to caring for all? I can only wonder that this is a mere reflection of ourself. We cannot love another if we don't even love ourself. Perhaps, we fear we do not have enough so that we must hoard. Perhaps we judge so much because "we know we are doing something against our own personal integrity".
